How to choose Golf Club Bag
5. December 2009 by Tee It Up Pro Shop.
For some, a golf club bag is a chance to show off your team spirit and promote your favorite college, for others it’s just a bag to hold your clubs. Simply put, traveling around the course requires a bag to hold ones golf clubs. The size of bag depends on the number of clubs you own as well as what accessories you have and what you want to carry along. Some may offer you a free bag with clubs purchase, however, upgrading your bag is well worth it for the features it brings.
Features of a Quality Golf Club Bag.
You should make sure your golf bag comes with all the necessary hardware. Some are equipped with a keyring or towel holder Typically, a set of golf clubs includes 13 clubs and most bags contain enough space for all of them, in constituent to a couple other items, such as an umbrella and a ball earpiece that extends to retrieve balls from tight spots or liquid features. Some golf club bags even contain a holder made to fit a water bottle. There will be two or three dividers in the bag itself to organize the clubs by woods, irons, etc.
Bags that allow room for organization are great, some have places to hold the club as well as the shaft. Head covers are needed to keep the club heads from banging against each other, and to avoid possible damage. Woods can get dinged more easily. Clubs can get banged up and tossed around in the bag while driving in the golf cart, but a set of head covers can help prevent damage.
The bag must be strong enough to withstand the rigors of travel. You may wish to purchase a special carrier for you golf club bag if you do a lot of traveling.
Styles and colors vary greatly. You can find golf club bags that will suit feminine tastes The carrying strap is something you should look closely at. When you are carrying the bag around the course, you need to look for sufficient padding to protect your shoulder from injury. Some golf club bags have detachable back harnesses designed to more evenly distribute weight and decrease pressure on the shoulders.
To make your golf trips more enjoyable, choose a golf club bag that contains all of the extras you are looking for and one that is made by a reputable company.

Are Golf Bags the Most Expensive Golf Accessories Of All

What do you have to say about your golf bag? I call it a real artwork innovation. Can I call it that? I think it would pass for an innovation with anyone who could give a damn about it. I can say this with conviction because I have some of the accessories - accessories that make your golf bag even more functional and useful.
In times past my golf bag had more free space. But I find that this has ceased to be the case. I put a water bottle in the left of the pocket, and a first-aid kit in the right pocket. And I don’t forget to take enough golf balls along. There are several other items that are widely used while golfing.
So far I have only discussed the worth of the empty space available. But I also attribute fun and personality to my golf bag. I have attached a little plush keychain onto my golf bag. My girlfriend said, “It is so lovely! I like it, I like this golf bag. It is not like other bags”. It made me proud. You can do the same thing. When you finish your decorating, you will find your artwork innovation has come to life!
I remember my mother’s advice: “Write your name or your mark on your bag. It is will prove useful.” Originally I did heed this advice - but I didn’t think that it was worth it. That is, until one day when I forgot to get my golf bag back. I was worried about it by the time I got back home. I was worried that I had lost it. 2 hours later someone brought me good news; he said he had brought it back to the golf club. It had my name on it, and consequently there were no complications. I was pleased by it all. I think that it is possible for everyone, like me, to forget their bag. I advise you to write your name on your bag.
But I find that that is not enough. If you think the same way I think, you will want to make an artwork innovation of your bag. You may place your own logo on it. You may have it carry the image of an embroidery project. I asked my mother to do it. (I am a boy. I can’t do it). My girlfriend did it too. She added two lovely hearts on it. I liked it very much. This bag is the only bag in the world of its kind. It is a fact that some famous golfers have their own logo.
There are no boundaries; we can add anything on our golf bag that we can think of. I have seen someone put his portrait on his bag; and that became a special trait of his golf bag. He attracts everyone’s attention at the golf club. He looks like a superstar on Earth. Everyone will look at you if you bear your own special unique trait. I just want to share my advice with you. You can do it yourself - all you have to do is put your mind to it. Maybe we will see more golf bag artwork innovations in the club soon?…

Golf Bags - Travel, Cart, Staff, Carry Or Sunday - Which One is Right For You?

By Taylor Turnstone
The golf bag was created to make the sport of golf easier for the solo player. When you are by yourself and trying to enjoy a relaxing round of golf, it is important that you have all of your equipment at your side. The golf bag is used to carry the clubs, the drivers, the tees, and the balls. Contrary to popular belief, not all golf bags are created equal. Bags come in different styles, and different sizes. Depending upon your level of golfing needs you can easily pick the bag that is right for you. Some examples of the different bags are:
- Travel golf bags give the golfer the freedom that suits them. The bag is flexible for playing around while at the same time giving them a secure bag that can be taken on golf vacations for long rides in cars or on in the storage bay on airplanes. Most are made from a crush-proof material, like PVC to protect your clubs while traveling. They will often also have a keyed lock for theft prevention.
- Cart bags are a must have for any senior golfer. They are bigger and have more compartments to carry all of the golfer’s needs. The cart bag holds the clubs in such a way that it is impossible for them to tangle up when you are putting them in or taking them out. The biggest downfall to these bags are their size. Since they have so much room and are made with such sturdy materials, they take up more room to store and transport.
- Stand golf bags are the bags that most golfers lean towards. These statistics ring true due to the fact that most golfers walk the course rather than ride it. These stand bags are lightweight yet completely functional, giving the golfer more than enough room to store his clubs. The bag comes complete with a double strap so that the bags weight is distributed evenly throughout the shoulders and back.
- Staff/Tour bags are the bags that are used by the PGA professionals. They are spacious yet compact making them well sought after. These bags have the four-pocket traditional design, giving the golfer an organized way to carry all of his golfing needs.
- Carry bags are the middle point between the stand bag and the cart bag. They are lightweight enough that they can be carried with ease, but also roomy enough that you do not have to leave anything behind.
- Sunday/Pencil Bags are lightweight and at the same time extremely durable. The Sunday/Pencil Bag weighs in at just three pounds, making it the perfect bag to pick up, sling over your should and just go. This bag holds your clubs in one pocket and the balls and tees in another.
No matter what your golf level is, whether it be beginner, professional or just weekend warrior there is a bag that will fit your needs. Both comfort and functionality are key to finding the perfect bag for you.
