Improve Your Game With These Golfer Tips
24. July 2011 by Tee It Up Pro Shop.
You hear your golf shot before you see it. Simply by the sound of the ball striking your club, your golf shot is about 350 yards all the way down the center of the green. A short approach shot and a putt and you will have achieved your first eagle! So what’s next? What’s next is actually a hole in one, naturally. Here is exactly where you roll the eyes, but don’t. Your own golfing technique is going to be on a complete new level with the following golfer tips.
Your game is only going to get significantly better with practice, practice, and even more practice. The more time you actually invest on the driving range, the better the golfer you will turn into. The very first thing you must do on the range is stretch. That’s right, stretch. Beneficial golfer tips will most certainly include stretching.
You cannot hit a good golf shot when your muscles are tight. Take several practice swings. Move your arms from side to side and then bend over and touch your toes. If touching your toes is out of the question, then get just as close as you are able to. Eventually you’ll be touching your toes, absolutely no difficulty at all.
The very first thing golfers like to do after they reach the practice range is to grab their driver. Stop! Great golf scores are made over the green, not off the tee. Pick up your 5 iron and work on your approach shot. The thing that you have to strive for is a perfect swing over and over in order that you develop muscle memory.
Select your target, swing easy, keep your eye on your ball and follow through. Hit a full bucket of balls with your five iron. Maintain the exact same target, and make a mental note on exactly how many balls are close enough to putt in. When you feel prepared you’ll be able to grab your seven iron or pitching wedge and go on to master your shots around the green.
The best golfer tips will come from PGA Gold Professionals. Request information regarding lessons from a Professional at your own nearby driving range. Golf coaching will range from 30 minutes to one hour and will cost you from thirty dollars all the way up to 200 dollars per hour and maybe even more. If your spending budget is tight you possibly can look for an assistant golf pro which is normally cheaper.
Golf can be a great sport, but frustrating also. Do not disregard the possibility of what practice is capable of doing for your game. The professionals on tour did not get where they are without countless hours at the practice range.

24. July 2011 by Tee It Up Pro Shop.
Playing golf can be extremely exciting, yet extremely relaxing at the same time. A lot of people like to play golf on their own, where as others like to go with a friend or even be part of a group. Whichever way people want to play golf, they can learn to save money every single time they visit the golf course.
The main cost related to golf is the entrance fee to the course itself. A lot of courses are extremely cheap to get into but the reality is the cheaper courses tend to be fairly basic and don’t offer as much of a challenge for seasoned golfers. Instead of visiting the cheaper courses, players can now visit the better, more expensive greens at a fraction of the usual price.
A lot of people do not do their research when it comes to golf, so they will be paying the full price. The reality is that there are plenty of websites online that have partnered with some of the best golf courses in the UK. What this means is that they are now in a position to offer customers a 2 for 1 offer.
Players can log on and purchase vouchers before they even visit the green to ensure they get their discount. These vouchers will entitle the players to get into the course a lot cheaper. Two players will be able to enter the course for the price of one, which means the discount is a huge 50%
So players that choose to experience golf by playing golf with friends are going to get the most benefit. Instead of paying the full price and paying thousands over the space of a year, they will be able to save a massive 50% every single time that they visit the course.
A lot of people disregard this discount websites simply because they do not think they will have partnered with the golf course that they enjoy to play on. The likelihood is that they are wrong, as these sites are adding golf courses to their databases on a regular basis, giving players a wider choice every single week.
Some example savings can be seen here. The likes of The Grove will save friends £170.00 between them, with courses such as St Mellion showing huge savings of £80.00. The Belfry is another popular course and it will show savings of £75.00 between two players. The savings can amount to huge amounts over the course of a year with the bonus of your golf costs being significantly lower.
Discount golf is entirely achievable and you don’t have to spend big in order to enjoy some of the bigger and well known golf courses, use 2 for 1 golf deals to save your money and enjoy better games of golf.
How To Hit Fairway Woods And Achieve More Distance
24. July 2011 by Tee It Up Pro Shop.
Using your fairway woods will give you maximum distance down the fairway. When you are new to the game, fairway woods can be harder to control than irons, but you should learn how to use them as soon as possible. The expertise to hit fairway woods, enabling you to hit longer distances, will help you lower your scores. An excellent fairway wood shot will get you off to a great start for the rest of the hole.
The most commonly used woods are the 1, 3 and 5. They are designed to advance your distance and power without any extra effort.
Evan though the size and shape of the club head is hugely different from the irons, the extra distance is achieved through the longer length of the shafts.
The longer shaft means the club head has a greater distrance to travel and a wider arc. When you swing a wood with the same rhythm and tempo as an iron, the club head travels around the arc in the same time, but has to cover much more distance, and this raises the speed. The increase in club head speed provides you with the added power to hit the ball longer distances. It isn’t necessary to speed up your swing to achieve faster club head speed. In fact for every full shot from driving to pitching your tempo should be the same.
The longer shaft of the fairway wood does lead to changes in your address including stance, posture and ball position. null
First of all you stand further away from the ball than you would for an iron because of the longer shaft length. To help maintain your balance you will need a wider stance. You address the ball with your back more upright and the ball position is opposite the inside of your left heel. Take the club away slowly, keeping the club head low to the ground.
Rotate your upper body freely as your left arm swing the club back. Your weight should have transferred from the central positon at address to the inside of the right foot by the time you are at the two-thirds point in your backswing.
At the top of your backswing your shoulders should have rotated 90 degrees and your hips 45 degrees. Make sure you don’t start the downswing before you have completed the backswing. A very slight delay at the top of the backswing before you start the downswing helps.
Rotate your left hip to the left when you start the downswing. This will pull your arms and hands into an ideal striking position.
Your swing plane is flatter so the club head approaches the ball at a shallower angle. The ball is struck at a later point in your swing and you sweep through. This is the reason for the ball being placed inside your left heel.
Allow your weight to move across to the outside of your left foot after impact. Allow the momentum of your swing to pull your right shoulder and your head to face the target. Your whole body should face the target. Most of your weight should be on your left foot and you should be balanced when you finish.
Practice at the driving range with your fairway woods and you will soon be gaining additional distance down the fairway and your handicap will be dropping.
