Mind The Ball

Even if you are not a golfer you´ve probably heard this before. Keep your eyes on the ball! This happens to be extra applicable with golf though. How are you going to hit the ball if you can´t see it? You probably wont!

Focus on the same spot of the ball during the whole swing. Don´t look at your club and don´t look away from the ball during the swing.

Your focus should be on the ball. Let everything else be.

When you´re standing there ready to make your swing. Try to look at the ball with a birds eye view. And rasing your shoulders wont help! Keep this in mind and you´ll probably see results.

Lots of people look away from the ball during the swing. Many people do it because golf clubs are so damn pretty :) Seriously though, this is a problem you should really try to get away from.

To always see the ball when making a swing is really one of the key factors for successfull golfers. It does´nt matter what kind of terrain the ball is on or what other kind of excuse you have. If you want to play good golf, make sure you can see the ball in every single swing you make. It´s not more complicated than that. Just making sure that this is always the case for you will improve your game drasticly.

I´ve met lots of golfers through out the years who move around before hitting the ball. You need to get rid of this habbit because it ruins your view. Another common problem is to look away from the ball for just a second before hitting the ball. This has to do with so many people being a customed to watching in the direction they want the ball to go. To really find out if this is a problem for you or not you should ask the people you play with. Most people are shocked when I tell them that they are not standing still. In most cases we simple don´t notice.

The root cause might be a lack of concentration among golfers. What we need to do is focus and make sure we se the ball during the whole swing.

But really this is quite simple stuff. I really found one program to help me with this. If you are interested in reading the review, here it is: [1] The Simple Golf Swing Review.

If you want to make some drastical changes to your game I truly believe that watching the ball is what you should focus on if you have not allready. Not only will you see better results. Maybe people will even start asking you for golf advice! If you are really having trouble mastering this and need some further advice I would recommend getting a [2] golf instruction book.
