Day On A Golf Course

How was your latest day on a golf course? Often we hear golfers profess that a bad day on a golf course is better than a good day at the office. Not many regular golfers would disagree with that well-known sentence.

Regardless of our age, intelligence or sex, each of us has the same goal. We want to leave a golf course with a feeling of accomplishment. Setting a new personal record hardly is necessary.

We want to get away from the worries of home and work. On the golf course we have the chance to focus on a little fun and recreation.

Golfers are in competition against each other during golf tournaments. For a golfer on a golf course, it is not enough to have a better score than the competition. While cruising around a golf course, most golfers rarely consider how well, or how bad, the other players are performing. It is more important to get the golf swing right.

Golfers compete against the golf course they are playing, not just the additonal golfers. Golfers do not total their scores until after they have finished playing. Once you have completed a round you can settle your wagers and predict what will happen at the next encounter.

Often it is said the you can measure the true worth of a person while on the golf course. Your honesty and fortitude will be put to the test while you are on a golf course. How a golfer reacts to difficult situations and makes decisions about doing the right thing are frequent on a golf course. People both nearby and further away will notice your manner of play and your conduct.

Each golf course is unique, and there can be quite a bit of difference when you look at the type of grass and length alone. This may not be a matter of concern if you happen to have the same golf swing Tiger has.

Most people believe that private golf courses and country clubs will offer the best golf course conditions. Some of the public golf courses have playing facilities that are better than private courses. There are several public golf courses that are better to play than some of the high-priced courses.

Any golf course is going to have to have more than a name alone if it is going to develop a good reputation. An owner or operator of any golf course has the power to create a positive or negative environment.

Although you do not like the owner, you will not have to encounter that person during your hours of play. For the next couple of hours the golfers are going to be in a rather solitary situation.

Mastering a single golf course is a rather limited accomplishment. In order truly to become a better golfer, it will pay for you to visit different golf courses. By playing other courses you will learn how to face new challenges you do not get on your home course.

I think David Nevogt provides the best golf instruction.
