See A Golf Coach And Revamp Your Golf Game
Asking for help can be difficult at times, but where golf is concerned it is important that you do. Unfortunately, we often ask our buddies and partners, when in reality we should seek help from our local Golf Professional and take a lesson or two. We think that a Golf Pro would critique harshly, but they are honest, positive and very helpful.
Lessons at the local golf course aren’t as expensive as you might think and they are worth it because your game will improve rapidly and cause you less frustration, making the game much more enjoyable for you. It is important to practice what you are taught, between golf lessons. This way your golf game will improve quicker.
Of utmost importance, is being honest about your game. The Golf Pro will ask you what you want to start with; driving, chipping, putting or whatever you feel you need help with. Listen carefully and follow the instructions. A lot of people are worried about seeing their Golf pro for lessons as they feel he is going to rip their game apart; this could not be further from the truth, your Golf pro will work with you and try to improve what you have and not make drastic changes you are not capable of.
It’s important you ask questions, so don’t hesitate. Your Golf Pro is there to help so don’t be afraid of asking any questions no matter how silly they may sound to you. If you don’t “get it”, tell him/her that you’re not getting it. You should never walk away from a lesson with unanswered questions.
You can concentrate on one thing during a lesson, or several. Your Golf Lesson could include work on the basic set up, driving, stance, posture, balance, back swing or follow through and then practice it. Next time, you might work on your short game, or putting. The Golf Pro will give you a plan of action and step by step instructions to improve your game.
You can spend a lot of money getting fitted out with the right golf equipment and having done so, don’t you think you should spend a fraction of that money improving your golf swing and learning how to use these clubs to the best of your ability?
