Pull shot simplified for you
The moment you find as a right handed golfer, that the ball is continuing to move in the left direction, you can consider having pulled off a pull shot. To do this, all you have to do is bring the club at an angle to hit the ball. When the club hits the ball coming from an angle outside of the line of target, you will find this job being accomplished.
This is where it gets a bit technical, but it is easy for you to understand the mechanics. On impact of the club with the ball, it is important for your shoulders to have the perfect positioning. This means your shoulders should not be opened up while you make impact with the ball, which happens quite the converse in a pull shot.
The other thing you may want to note is the positioning of the ball. If the ball is placed too far at the left your stance, you will find the clubface moving in a closed position to hit the ball. Thus, when the ball is hit, you will find it veering towards the left.
Every golfer wants to hit the ball as clean and accurate as possible. It really just comes down to your hard work and your technique. If you want to learn more, How to Make a Perfect Golf Swing
How can you get rid of the pull?
Obviously, the first thing you would want to do to fix the pull, is to get your
shoulder positioning right on the direction of the target line.
One thing most of you should know is the first activity you would want to do to eliminate the pull is to ensure the body is aligned perfectly with respect to the line of the target.
Always be sure of having the positioning of your shoulders correct. This means, they
should not be turned left or right of the target line at all.
Be sure to do a weight transfer to the left part of your body, if you wish your shoulders and hips not to open up, which could result in a pull.
One thing you must never do is swing on the ball with a lot of force. Be sure to have a relaxed stance and swing in a free manner.
